Starting from September 25th the city will welcome avid shoppers from India and abroad for the annual Jaipur Shopping Festival. And since the festival culture in Jaipur is always bigger than ever, you can expect a grand shopping fiesta again this time. Read on for everything you need to know about this upcoming festival!

What is the festival all about?

The main objective of the Jaipur Shopping Festival is to promote the Pink City as a tourist destination. The festival plays host to different music and theatre events for the upcoming festive season. It also promotes the culture and the spirit of the city by bringing its business associations together. As per tradition, the festival is known to be inaugurated by one or the other Bollywood celebrity each year. You never know, you might just spot your favourite celeb at the festival!

Just like every year, this year you can expect to find an array of locally made products here. Ranging from wooden handicrafts, jewellery, furniture, and electrical appliances, all being sold under one roof. The festival is mostly popular for gemstones and jewellery, Leheriya saree, Bandhej and Meenakari items. You can also find embroidered bed sheets, handcrafted bags, Mojris, and bangles and pottery!
