A Mix Of Indian Culture And Art

Tucked in Gurgaon, The Hut Cafe is a stunning cafe-cum-retail store. The cafe aims to empower Indian artisans and showcase our rich Indian cultural heritage. Harsh Roy, a graduate of IIT Bombay came up with this quirky little cafe. The idea of the cafe came from all his travels across the country. We caught up with Harsh, who told us what sets The Hut Cafe apart from other cafes in the city.
Harsh said, “The tagline of the cafe reads, ‘Thoda… Hut Ke’ and offers everything a little differently than the usual. The cafe combines the earthy, simplicity and beauty of a traditional village hut with the hustle and pace of a modern urban cafe – therefore the name The Hut Cafe – thoda…hut ke.”

Super Quirky Interiors & Furniture Which is For Sale!

Once you land in the cafe, you will be stunned by the interiors. It boasts countless contemporary variants of traditional arts. Madhubani painted wooden trucks that are being used as a bar accessory is one of the most fascinated things in the cafe. Another fancy decor is the wall panels painted using the Kashmiri Papier Mache. But do you know that best part?

Harsh added, “The cafe’s furniture is unique, vibrant and floral and can be customized and purchased like most other things. Most of the items on offer are super affordable and one of a kind design.”

The interiors are a riot of colours, and once you step in your mind with an instant hit refresh. The furniture and the floral peacock chairs are available for sale and can also be customized. Also, the cafe has two floors for seating, and the products are from all parts of India like Papier Mache’ work of Kashmir, Thangka from Ladakh, Leather art of Andhra, Dhokra from tribal belt etc.
