Hitchki- Nostalgia of Your Palate And Soul

Tucked in Mumbai, Hitchki is a resto-bar that has a theme of ‘blast from the past’ and expresses the nostalgia with its menu offering dishes from childhood. Each of the dishes has a quirky touch in a way without compromising on the traditional flavours across India.

With Hitchki written outside in tall fonts, and 90s popular pop-music reverberating outside, Hitchki is about all things fancy. This restaurant is quite spacious from the inside and also has outdoor seating where you can chill with your BAE for a cosy candlelight dinner. As soon as you will enter, the bar is the first thing that will catch your attention.

Hitchki’s menu is so varied, exciting and offers something to everyone. But what caught our attention was ‘Ye Dhaai Kilo Ki Chaat’ which we are sure every chaat lover would love to eat. It’s a 2.5 kg dish that has 7 or more chaat flavours from different states of India. The flavours include Hindustan Lucknow Ke Tokri Chaat, Delhi Wali Aloo Tikki, Indore Ki Bhel, Bangla Puchka, Mumbai Ki Sev Puri, Punjab De Dahi Bhalle, Rajasthan Nu Kachori Chaat and Gujrati Dhokla Imli Khajoor Chutney. We are totally in love with the variety they offer of chaat flavours!

Jungle Mein Mangal, Mere Pass Maa Hain & More

Hitchki’s menu has everything quirky and fancy with a Bollywood touch in their names. Sample some of these gems like ‘Aye Mere Watane Ke Logo’ which includes Hara Baare Kebab, Green Watana, Cashew Nut, Pan Seared and Chutney Mayo; ‘Mere Pass Maa Hain’ include Dal Makhani, Alootuk and Methi Garlic Naan.

And if you have a sweet tooth, then their dessert menu is something which will make you crave another round of desserts. ‘Jungle Mein Mangal’ is one of our favourites as it includes Black Forest Cake, Milk Chocolate Sauce and White Mousse. Another favourite from the dessert menu is their ‘Mr. India’ that has Gajar Ka Halwa, Motichoor Ice Cream and Ghewar.

We totally loved the ambience and the food! And we are super excited to head here for another round of dinner with our loved ones. When are you planning to head?
