Fear The Walking Dead is a prequel to The Walking Dead and is a horror drama show. It’s set at the time of the onset of an apocalypse. The series follows a dysfunctional, blended family who is joined by others at the outbreak of the apocalypse. As the civilisation collapses, they must learn to reinvent themselves and adapt to new ways in order to survive. 4. The Rain

The Rain is Netflix’s first Danish original. It’s set up six years after a brutal virus carried by the rain wipes out almost all of humanity in Scandinavia. Two Danish siblings, who manage to survive, come out from the safety of their bunker to find all the remaining bits of civilisation gone. They join a group of young survivors and set out to search for any sign of life through an abandoned Scandinavia. It’s one of those shows that will keep you glued which is why Netflix has already renewed it for another season!

5. The Walking Dead

Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror series. The show revolves around a group of survivors led by police officer Rick Grimes who travel in search of a safe and secure home after a Zombie apocalypse spread across the United States. 6. The 100

The 100 is a post apocalyptic science fiction drama TV series. The series is set 97 years after the Earth was destroyed by a nuclear Apocalypse. The only people to survive this apocalypse was the residents of the twelve space stations. One hundred juvenile prisoners are declared ‘expendable’ and are sent to the Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet. They learn there are people who survived on Earth.
