Digital platforms are giving stiff competition to Bollywood films with binge-worthy series. Shows like Delhi Crime, Four More Shots Please, Made In Heaven, Hostages and many more kept us glued to our TV screens in the first half of 2019. But just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, a host of new Indian web series was announced. Some have already aired and some are coming soon to your mobile screens. So, here’s a list of all the newest content in the Indian digital space that needs to be on every TV buffs radar!

1. Bard of Blood

Based on Bilal Siddiqui’s book of the same name, Bard of Blood is a seven-episode Netflix show airing from the 27th of September. The show marks the digital debut of Emraan Hashmi and also stars Amyra Dastur, Shashank Arora, Kirti Kulhari, Sobhita Dhulipala and others. Co-produced by none other than SRK himself, this show packs a solid punch and is must-watch for action lovers.

2. Bhram

All those looking for some chills and thrills, Bhram starring Kalki Koechlin is exactly your cup of tea! This eight-episode psychological horror/thriller sees Kalki playing the protagonist. Her character suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traverses all kinds of extremes (paranormal, mythical, psychological) to unearth a long-forgotten truth. Its been five days since the show premiered and if you aren’t hooked to it already, what are you even doing with your life?

3. Mission Over Mars (M.O.M)

While Mission Mangal raked moolah at the box office, Mission Over Mars, a web series about the Mangalyaan has also been made to entertain you on the small screen! It follows the lives of four female scientists played by Sakshi Tanwar, Mona Singh, Nidhi Singh and Palomi Ghosh. These women help the Indian Space Agency overcome the obstacles they face while mounting the mission to Mars. In the process, they also conquer their own personal imperfections. M.O.M is certainly an inspirational story to watch that you must tune into asap!

4. The Family Man

Marking Manoj Bajpayee’s debut in the digital space, The Family Man premiered just 3 days back and has already garnered rave reviews! Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari plays a regular middle-class man and government employee, who well, isn’t all he seems to be. In fact, he works for a special cell of the National Intelligence Agency, which is saddled with the responsibility of protecting the nation from terror threats. So go ahead and watch it now to know what the buzz is all about!

5. Baahubali: Before The Beginning

Starring Mrunal Thakur, yes the girl you recently saw in Super 30, this Netflix original series will delve deeper into the character of Sivagami and will trace her rise to power in Mahishmati kingdom. Baahubali fans will see the story backtrack about 75 years before the conclusion of the Baahubali story. Back to when it all started! While the release date has not been announced yet but it is expected to premiere before the end of this month and of course we are excited beyond words!

6. The Verdict: State vs Nanavati

If you loved the Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’cruz starrer Rustom, you’re going to love this one too! On April 27, 1959, a Parsi Naval Officer pumped three bullets from his 38 Smith and Wesson revolver into a rich Sindhi businessman after he found his wife was involved with him. This series based on the infamous criminal case of K.M. Nanavati vs the State of Maharashtra that shook the entire nation is going to make waves once it premiers and you definitely need to watch out for it!

7. Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala

The romantic drama starring Rajeev Khandelwal and Divyanka Tripath hit the screens on August 30th and has become pretty popular already.
The show revolves around Vikram (Rajeev) and Nitya (Divyanka), two aspiring chefs who meet in Bhopal. While Nitya has struggled and worked her way up in life against all odds, Vikram has had a protective carefree upbringing. So if you’re looking for a sweet romantic drama, this one’s for you!

8. Mentalhood

How many of you are eager to see Karisma Kapoor get back to acting, whether it’s on the big screen or small? We know we are! MentalHood, starring Lolo highlights the journey of a modern parent. While not much else is known about the show or its release date, we are beyond excited to see Karisma make her digital debut! Here’s hoping the show premiers soon!

9. Lots of Season 2’s

A lot of our favourite web series will come back with their second seasons before the close of this year. The popular cricket drama Inside Edge will come back with a season 2 along with R. Madhavan’s Breathe, but this time with Abhishek Bachhan in the lead role. Not only that but we will also see the second season of Mirzapur hitting our TV screens before 2019 comes to an end. What can we see, with such an interesting lineup of upcoming TV Shows, we’re probably not going to leave our beds all winter!
