What would you do, if on one fine day, when you were in the middle of online conversation with your best friend, some stranger pings you. While you would normally ignore such pings you seem to be unsure of what you should do with this one, because this person isn’t like any other normal stranger.
This time you were interrupted by someone who no one on this planet has ever seen or met, but he/she still commands great respect and billions of people across the globe worship him/her. You’ve probably guessed it by now, the stranger who comes online is none other than God himself. His conversation with you starts off in such a manner that you have no choice but continue the chat and soon enough the chat window between you and him is all that you can see. What exactly would be the content of such a chat, let’s find out :
God : Hello. you called me
I, Me, Myself(IMM) : Called you ? No, who is this ?
God: This is God. I heard your prayers . So i thought i’ll chat with you.
IMM: sure, I pray. Just makes me feel good. Actually, am busy now. In the midst of something.
God: What are you busy with ? Ants are busy, too.
IMM: Don’t know. but I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic. It’s rush hour all the time.
God: Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.
IMM: Anyways, I still don’t get it, wasn’t expecting you to buzz me on instant messaging chat.
God: Well, what can I say. I’m more modern than you think I am. Now, do you have any questions to ask.
IMM: Yes, Please tell me why has life become so complicated ?
God: Stop Analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.
IMM: Why are we then constantly unhappy ?
God: Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because the act of worrying has become a habit. That’s why you are not happy.
IMM: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainity ?
God: Uncertainity is inevitable , but worrying is optional.
IMM: But then , there is so much pain due to uncertainity.
God: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
IMM: If suffering is optional , why do good people always suffer ?
God: Diamonds cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials. with that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.
IMM: You mean to say such experience is useful ?
God: Yes. Experience is a hard teacher . She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.
IMM: But still, why should we go through such tests ? why can’t we be free from problems
God: Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons to Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance , not when you are free from problems.
IMM: Frankly, in the midst of so many problems , we don’t know where we are heading.
God: If you look outside you will not know where are you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. heart provides insight.
IMM: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction.
God: Success is relative, quantified by others. Satisfaction is absolute, quantified by you.Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead
IMM: Sometimes I ask , who am I , why am I here ? I don’t know the answers.
God: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be . Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.
IMM: How can I get the best out of life ?
God: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.
IMM: Sometimes my prayers are not answered.
God: There are no unanswered prayers . At times the answer is NO
IMM: Thank you for ths wonderful chat. I’ll try to be less fearful.
God: Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystrey to solve, not a problem to resolve. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.
As it turns out this is one chat transcript that you would always keep with yourself and surely it makes for a great read, especially on a weekend. So take care, have fun and have a great weekend.

K. the collation is going to display on your blog but below these were my immediate thoughts on reading your column at AlwaysOn.
For me the most beneficial conversation with G-d is going to the primary source. Whether that is the Veda’s, the Bible, the Torah, the Granth or the Koran etc the relationship we maintain with primary source is going to determine the quality of the conversation.
The conversation for instance I engage is about personal discernment and not as an advocate of what anybody else’s spiritual practice should be. So for me the relationship with primary source is critical and the primary source is often a translation through one or more original source languages but IMHO it is the quality of our inner spirit which enables us to personally avoid that which has got lost in translation.
One of my primary learnings is that one does not need to add new things to the Word of G-d. The decision to apply oneself at a personal level is far more important in my eyes than to state or show what one’s tribal colours or affiliations are.
The fact that so many engage in the idolatry of people who engage spiritual exercise is something that saddens me, for IMHO no human being can or is capable of being more important than the Word of G-d.
When I read your post I constructed a process so I could rearrange it so I could look at it through explorative thinking. The rest of this is posted to your blog.

So to continue here at the blog itself - the process I followed was
1. To collate your G-d responses as a paragraph of thoughts (First Collation)
2. To collate your IMM responses as a secondary paragraph (Second Collation)
3. Then I reviewed the difference
4. Finally related to it through my own personal application
When I did this, what emerged was what I would refer to as a geniune voice of the spirit (your voice not mine) and a genuine questioning at the corporal level of being - the physical self. Of course these are not two voices but one aspect of the same being, which of course is Kirti Dhingra. So the difference here for me was doing the questioning and who should be doing the questioning. So if we are relating our questioning through the physical self and answering in the spiritual we are merely repeating IMHO what it is we know we should be doing. Yet, if we are questioning through the spiritual self and answering in the physical, then IMHO then we are attempting to actually move towards to the best of spiritual being.
When I relate it my own personal application, the result is usually a commonality of expressions that belong to all of humanity, some of which we do much better, some of it we do worse, some we didn’t consider and some an accumulation of ways which need to wait until we have achieved mastery in the ones that are most central to our own being. So my takeaway is not that different from your conclusion, which is to focus deeply on my own journey because my journey is my journey - the very IMM which benefits when we engage the Living Water or enlightenment or Dharma or whatever one wishes to personally attain.
